Hi,

this project is for educational purposes excellent and a very good alternative to Lego Mindstorms. However, the input/outputs are a bit limited. Do you have any plans to support the Arduino Mega? And do you have plans to supports more motors (simply via PWM) and maybe also stepper motors? (I would help, but I have no clue how to work on the S4A sources itself ...)

Cheers,
Wolfgang

Yeah, I was looking forward to it as well. I hope the wonderful people at Citilab will look

into it.

Regards

Gary

I’m sorry, I don’t get what you mean by „X3“.

Cheers,
Wolfgang

Hi all!

We never really had the opportunity to test S4A on a Mega... we'll talk about it and see what we can do!

In the meantime, I would like to let you know we're working on a new project that will allow for easy programming of pretty much any Arduino board, although it's still on a very early, pre-alpha, experimental, bleeding-edge, may-explode stage.

We'll keep you posted!

Bernat.

That's interesting. May I test it?

Hi Bernat,.

That’s interesting !!!

Is it based on Scratch or a newly developed block-based programming ??

Gary

It is a solution based on Snap!, the Berkeley Scratch HTML5 clone. However, I'm afraid it's a bit too early for testing... for the moment it just kinda "Works On My Machine (TM)".

I'll keep you posted on the progress, and let you know as soon as I have a polished enough prototype.

For the moment, here's a little video:

Thanks a lot for your interest :)

Best,
Bernat.

Hi!

Another video recorded yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63zW9RXWvfk

I'm making good progress, but I need to push hard to get the Windows and Mac versions working as soon as possible.

Cheers!

Bernat.

Impressive! Keep us up to date. I'm really interested to use this with the mega.

Cheers, Wolfgang

Hi All!
I have connected my Arduino 2560 to S4a and i have programed a simple blink at digital pin 13 , but my Arduino dosen't seems syncronized with the blink time that i have been choosen!
Do you think i have to change something in the firmware?

Regards,
Giulio

Giulio, is there already something available for download? Or which version of s4a are you using? And which arduino firmware?
I was under the impression that Bernat is working on some extensions of snap! And I guess that's also a new firmware is required.

Cheers, Wolfgang
