Hi,

I'm starting now with Raspberry, Arduino and Snap4Arduino. I have already test Snap and Snap4Arduino in windows, but I found a problem installing the software (Snap4Arduino) in Raspberry Pi 3.

I have try several times with no sucess. Most common error shown is:
Didn't find libudev.so.1 or libudev.so.0. Please provide a link.

I have looked for postinstall.sh with no success (I don't know where is it).

Could you help me to know what is happening or what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you in advance.

Hi there Pedro,

you can't install the regular Snap4Arduino version in a Raspberry, because although it's also a GNU/Linux system, it uses a different architecture (ARM).

So, your options are:

a) Develop in PC, deploy in Raspberry by using the Snap4Arduino command line interpreter
b) Wait for the browser plugin version to be released, which should happen around next week
c) For the moment, try out the old experimental Chromebook version that can also be installed in the Raspberry if you install the Chromium browser first.

Hope it helped!

Cheers,
Bernat.
