Hello,

Would it be possible to provide a way to reset the s3backer statistics?

I'm finding it hard to figure out what is going wrong when I/O
slows down after a long time running, since the averages move
very little for each new I/O, but don't want to umount the volume
just to clear the statistics.

I suppose a signal would need to be sent and caught, perhaps
SIGUSR1, to trigger the stats clearing, and one would probably
want a date/time stamp or uptime secs added to the stats to know
when they were was last started/cleared.

Worth doing?

That's a good idea. I created an issue to track it.
