Dear Asep Darmansyah, M.Si.,

 

In conjunction to the 30th anniversary of Universiti Utara Malaysia, we would like to invite you to the International Conference on Accounting Studies 2014 (ICAS 2014) which will be held as part of the UUM's International Conference on Management & Business Sustainability. This conference is scheduled to take place from 18 - 20 August, 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).

The theme of the conference is Contemporary Issues in Accounting Studies: Sustaining Accounting Relevance.

Authors are invited to submit complete, original and unpublished research papers to the ICAS 2014 which may address theoretical, methodological or practical aspects related to accounting and should revolve around the conference theme (papers not explicitly addressing the following topic are also welcomed).

TOPIC OF INTEREST
The key contemporary accounting issues to be addressed by the conference are in relation (but not limited) to: Financial Accounting and Reporting, Management Accounting and Costing, Auditing and Internal Control, Accounting Information Systems, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets, Taxation, Public Sector Accounting, Financial Management, Islamic Accounting, Forensic Accounting, Social and Environment Accounting, and Case Studies and Issues in Accounting. (For full list of issues, please visit our website here)

PUBLICATION AND INDEXING
This conference is featured by blind review of papers. The conference proceedings will be published by Procedia - Social and Behavioural Sciences (Elsevier) with ISBN/ISSN number and will be indexed in SCOPUS and published by Elsevier (upon approval by Elsevier).
