testers required for py2plot

Hi all,

later today we will have a distribution of py2plot - the S2PLOT Python
Module - ready. Before making it widely available, I would like a few
people to download it, and test that they can build and run the
module. Could any volunteer Python users please email me or reply to
this message, and let me know which architecture (ie. $S2ARCH setting)
you are willing to try py2plot on?

As a heads-up, py2plot will be distributed as source (module source,
not S2PLOT(^) source), and requires python >= 2.5, and numpy >=
1.0.4. The py2plot module provides an interface to the entire(#)
S2PLOT functionality, including callbacks.

(^) We are moving forward with a plan to "open source" S2PLOT later in
2008, probably around October.

(#) OpenGL callbacks are not supported from Python.
