Next Team Race Date Nov 8

A week from Saturday we have our next scheduled date.

Charlie is out, but is helping to recruit boats and crews.

Either Peter or I will need to run the races Whaler, and the other is likely to race.

Laird is also organizing ILCA(laser) and dinghies to also get out to share the course that day.

Let's figure out if we have 3 more boats quickly so folks can plan.

Dec 13 will be next up on the calendar and that will be another attempt at team racing, followed by the annual fleet meeting and party.  Lets try and get everyone to the club for that.

Hi Chris —Count Shanman in.  I’ve got one crew for sure.  Still working on a second, but I plan to be out one way or the other.   Good practice before midwinters.   I’m hoping we’ll have some other tunas out for the winter races.  Anyone else planning on midwinters?

Hi all!

Team Racing:

Quick reminder, skippers meeting at the hoist @ 11AM. 

Right now wind forcast looks light. 

Swell is diminishing but could still be a factor transiting the harbor mouth. They're talking like 6'

There may be a boat or two a little short on crew so we may need to balance out a bit between boats (which may be a good thing in lighter conditions) Let's see if that comment bites me tomorrow lol

There will be a number of lasers doing their own thing tomorrow in our area. We may share a mark or two with them but stay separated. 

Should be a fun day!!!
