Hello everyone,

I've met almost all of you, but I'm Ryan Bartoszek and am currently the VP Membership of Scale and Coin. I'm sure you're all awaiting the email detailing your first week of pledge, but I thought I would send out my pledge task now so you all have as much time to do it as possible throughout pledge.

Mine is simply to design a business card for yourself and send it to me. You can keep it clean and simple or show me your artistic talents. The information I would like to see on there is: full name, cell number, email, and at least one other thing that would show me a bit about who you are or what you do if you handed it to me (for example my business card has both a Duke Logo to show I'm a student and a Scale and Coin Logo to show my involvement in the organization). Other optional info that is sometimes seen on business cards is address, another phone number or alternate email, or whatever information you want to convey.

Business cards are an integral part of any persons business career and are a vital part of networking from my experience. It helps you to leave a lasting impression on whomever you want to remember you.

ONE CAVEAT I have had mixed opinions from some other people about business cards during finance recruiting. As those of you who have spoken to me will know I am personally not planning on going into finance and the networking I have done is different than what you will do on campus at events.

Simply send me your design for your business card and then I will look at it, give some feedback and we can figure out a time to meet so you can get my physical signature.

Good luck to all of you and feel free to reach out to me with any questions, comments, or concerns about the pledge process, Scale and Coin as or organization, what my favorite movie is, some networking information, or whatever comes across your mind.

Best,
Ryan Bartoszek

Hi everyone,

My name is Ann, and I believe I have met most of you. Here's my signature task: Try to pitch me a food that you like through email, and please also attach a picture of it.

My signature is not a mandatory one, but it is a signature nonetheless: pitch to me a food you find appealing with the necessary reasons.

I would keep track of your answers, and we can figure out a time to meet for the signatures.

Good luck with pledge!

Best,

Ann Tai

Hi Ann,

Traditional knowledge dicates that my dish be called malpua and rabdi and originates from the Islamic parts of Maharashtra (India). But this is actually false. On tasting one realises this is the ambrosia that Greeks were obsessing over, about 3000 years ago.
The dish itself is relatively complex. Malpuas are thick, deep fried, caramelised in saffron and fennel, hot rice and milk pancakes and rabdi is cold thickened creamy and over sweetened milk with dry fruits. Both are eaten together in each bite so as to complement the varying heats and textures.
The dish is extremely festive and in India forms a staple part of celebaratory cuisine in both Hindu and Muslim homes which is rare.
Cautionary warning - It is not meant for the faint hearted (including those with heart disorders)

Regards,

My name is Maggie Lawson, and I am very enthusiastic to join the Internet of Think study program at STIKOM University. I am very interested in the world of technology and how software can help solve real world problems.

Since young, I have had a passion for programming. I started learning my first programming language at the age of 18, and since then, I have never stopped learning and developing my skills. I've worked on several small projects and worked on several applications Slot Demo Indonesia, which helped me understand the software development process from start to finish.

I am very interested in learning concepts like web development, mobile app development and database management. I also believe that collaboration is the key to creating great software, and I am passionate about working in teams to tackle complex challenges.

While at university, I hope to deepen my understanding of various programming languages, software development methodologies, and also understand how to solve problems in software development effectively. In addition, I plan to engage in group projects and practicums to gain deeper practical experience.

Outside of academia, I enjoy exploring side projects, learning about the latest trends in the tech industry, and participating in developer communities. I also believe that continuous learning is the key to staying relevant in the rapidly changing world of technology.

I really enjoyed meeting my classmates, lecturers and professionals in the software industry. Let's explore this exciting world together and collaborate to create innovative solutions.
