Greetings All,
I'm about to take my first extended trip (10 days) away from my '98 S10 NiMH truck. I've been told I should disconnect the battery pack to reduce incidental discharge for any time longer than a week away from the truck.
I have the complete owner's manual and have started to try and figure how to do this. My problem is I am not a tech/mechanical type and getting the most basic, dumbed down instructions would be most helpful and reduce stress!
If anyone can toss a rookie a helping hand I'd be most appreciative.
Thanks in advance,
Richard
ps, I'm also about to replace the aux battery, it's a year old, so I was going to do that before leaving Friday. Does this also need to be disconnected before leaving? If so, I would wait to put the new battery in. Thanks.
