Hi,

We're a company that have unique solution and product for customer experience in means of knowledge.

We have already implemented search on top of Solr together with special methodologies and techniques to enable question answering.

We're still looking for additional technologies that will enhance this capability and enable natural language questions for our customers.

I wonder if you can describe in high level how I can use S-Space as such framework for question answering on domain specific corpus.

Thank you in advance,

Hi Moshe,

I think it could be possible to use parts of the S-Space package for QA.  One of the benefits of algorithms such as LSA is that it can still find synonym documents with little text overlap as being similar.  However, using these kinds of models effectively in a QA setting depends on having a sufficiently large corpus and having the question text be related to the answer text.

Could you tell me a bit more about what kind of data you're working with and how much data is available?  That would greatly help for offering some suggestions on what you might try.

  Thanks,
  David
