Thanks to all the parents and child welfare professionals who helped make Saturday's Reunification Celebration a great success! Parents like me couldn't have done it without support from professionals like you.
Unfortunately, I could participate in Saturday's celebration because I recently relocated to Bayview, WA on Whidbey Island. This means that I am saying good bye, because I officially stepped down from a parent leadership role in Spokane. Over the past four years, I enjoyed working with so many wonderful parents and professionals; everyone treated me with respect and like family. Thanks for all of your support, and I ask that you continue to support SPAN, which is now in the capable hands of other parents.
I hope to continue volunteering as a child welfare advocate in new home, Island County, and at the state level, please contact me via my personal email if you want to stay in touch.
