Good morning,

This Saturday from 9:00 to 1:00 the Spokane Parent Advocacy Committee is hosting its first veteran birth parent sponsored Dependency 101 class! The class will be held at the Salvation Army - 222 E Indiana Ave.

If you would like to review our handbook it is located in our documents at http://groups.google.com/group/SpokanePAC/files?hl=en listed under the file name "Dependency 101 Handbook.pdf". This is still a work in progress, so if you have any comments, feel free to foward them to me.

If you know of any parent who may benefit from this class, please pass along our invite, which can be found at the same location under the file name "Dependency 101-102 Class Flyers.pdf".

Thank you,

Jeremiah Donier

The New Busy think 9 to 5 is a cute idea. Combine multiple calendars with Hotmail. Get busy.

Good afternoon,

Saturday, July 24 and Saturday, 31 the Spokane Parent Advocacy Committee is hosting two more birth parent sponsored Dependency 101 classes. The classes are scheduled to be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the at the Salvation Army at 222 East Indiana Avenue. Attendees need to use the main entrance with the blue awning. We have decided to postpone Dependency 102 until we have more parents who participate in the Dependency 101 class. A flyer that can be given to the parents can be found at: p://groups.google.com/group/SpokanePAC/files?hl=en

One more of our veteran parents would like to attend some Juvenile Court dependency hearings, i.e. Shelter Care, Disposition, Fact Finding or Review and invite parents involved in proceedings to our class. We're asking for an opportunity to hand out our flyer to parents and nothing more. Please let Heather, Ambrosia or myself know if this is agreeable and when the best date and time to be there.

If there any social workers, CASA/GAL, attorneys or other legal/child welfare professionals who would like to attend and/or present information at our class please contact me. We welcome your input in presenting this class to families newly involved with a child dependency.

Thank you,

Jeremiah Donier
