Hello,

The Spokane Parent Advocacy Committee is hosting its first veteran
birth parent sponsored Dependency 101 class! It is on Saturday, July
10 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Salvation Army - 222 E Indiana Ave.
This first class focuses on parents working with the legal system;
their attorney, the court, DCFS and social workers.

Saturday, July 24 we are holding Dependency 102 from 9:00 am to 1:00
pm at the Salvation Army - 222 E Indiana Ave. This second class will
focus on the family team decision process, service providers, and
finding resources.

We would like to work with you and Spokane's child dependency
attorneys to invite parents who are newly involved with child welfare
to these classes If you know any social workers, attorneys, service
providers or other child welfare professionals who would like to help
us teach the class, we welcome and value your assistance.

You can find class information flyers and learn more about our the
Spokane PAC at http://groups.google.com/group/SpokanePAC

Thank you,

Jeremiah Donier
