Hi Everybody out there,

For people who are older than 18 years of age:
1)GSoc can be registered (Cheers :-) )

For people who are less than 18 years of age
1)They can apply for GCI. (But its not open for registering yet.)
The above link is for 2010-11.

So you can register for GSoC now  :-)

Some of the interesting project links i found:

Regards,
Sibi.

GSoC is open to individual students who are at least thirteen (13) years of age and no older than eighteen (18) years of age on November 22, 2010.

So beware before registering.

Hi,

Fedora is one of the famous distro which u can try on.

But if you are a beginner, i wouldn't suggest you to start with that.
Recently my friend tried it and got irritated with it. But you can try
fedora, if you have patience and also internet connection for
downloading the packages.

I dont have an idea about the effects and graphics of Fedora. But if u
r concentrating on graphics and effects, then better try on Ubuntu
Ultimate edition. It has got a flashy interface and effects in it.

Regards,
Sibi.
