S- FOSS [SASTRA Free and Open Source Software] community recently
conducted a one day event named S-FOSS EXPO 2010 in its premises of
src campus at kumbakonam.This was conducted on 20-10-2010 [wednesday]
by 10 a.m.
The presidential address was given by Dr.K.G.Raghunathan , Dean EEE
and special address was delivered by Dr.S.Seshadri ,Dean Engg.As a
part of the expo the S-FOSS report was also presented.
The expo included a special lecture by shri Ramadoss ,Director of SG E-
ndicus info tech pvt limited . Technical stalls were also set up by
the students of s-foss community.the special lecture threw lights on
the web frameworks of linux.it was very much inspiring for the
students which extended for about two hours The stalls remained till 4
p.m. these stalls explained various domain in the open source.The
expo enjoyed the entire support from the student community.
