Announcement and First Call for Papers
The Iranian Society for Biomedical Engineering (ISBME) is honored to announce the 19th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICBME 2012) which will be held in Tehran, Iran from 20 to 21 December 2012.
ICBME 2012 brings together academics, researchers and industry professionals to exchange recent advances in different fields pertaining to Biomedical Engineering. The conference is soliciting research papers and tutorials in the following areas:
* Biomedical Signal Processing
* Biomedical Imaging & Image Processing
* Bioinstrumentation: Sensors, Micro, Nano, and Wearable Technologies
* Bioinformatics, Computing Biology; Systems Biology, Modeling Methodologies
* Biomechanics and Robotics
* Cardiovascular & Respiratory Systems Engineering
* Healthcare Information Systems, Telemedicine
* Molecular, Cellular and Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials
* Neural and Rehabilitation Engineering
* Technology Commercialization, Education, Industry and Society
* Therapeutic & Diagnostic Systems, Devices and Technologies, Clinical Engineering
Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit Extended Abstracts of their work either in Farsi or in English. Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere can be considered. The submission process is carried out through the EDAS web site (http://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=11839) and submitted papers must comply with the relevant templates available from: http://isbme.org/en/catalog/page.asp?id=37. This year, to ensure a timely referral, the selection process starts with the blind review of a 2-pages Extended Abstract. The maximum length of the final camera-ready paper is six (6) pages. Please note that submission of a paper implies that at least one of the authors will fully register at the conference and present the paper upon acceptance. Only papers that have been presented by one of the authors will be included in the conference's proceedings. Presented papers in English will appear in the IEEE Xplore digital library, and additional information on the conference is available at: www.isbme.org.
