The Raise Your Voice community calendar has just been updated for July. This month I would like to highlight the Legal Voice Seattle Storm Event. The game is this Sunday at 6pm and tickets can be purchased directly from Legal Voice.

I will chime in and say that we could also use a few more volunteers for the game on Sunday.  Here are the deets!

Legal Voice will be the featured charity at the Seattle Storm basketball game on Sunday, July 8th!  As their featured charity, we will  be participating in a 50/50 raffle.  We will be selling raffle tickets to the general audience and between the 3rd and 4th quarter, a winning raffle ticket will be drawn.  The winner will receive half the pot of cash and Legal Voice gets the other half!  ( So it could end up being a nice chunk of change for us.)

This is where YOU come in!  We need gregarious, fun, outspoken volunteers to sell raffle tickets for the game that night.  It will be a great awareness raising opportunity for Legal Voice!  The Storm crowd is filled with families, feminists, LGBT folks and many other people who should know about Legal Voice!  (+ Sue Bird die-hards, as it's Sue Bird Bobblehead night)

The game starts at 6 p.m. and we’d ask you to be there around 4 p.m. for a 20 minute training before the doors open.  We will be working in groups of 4 that will be strategically spread out in the arena.
