I can hardly believe today is the day. We are almost there. Just one final, all-important push! Thanks to your support, we are on the brink of approving Referendum 74 and preserving the freedom to marry here in Washington!
On Election Day, we need you to check off this list of things to do: 1. If you are a Washington resident, have you mailed in your ballot?
- If you have not mailed in your ballot, click here to find out where you can drop it off. We must make sure that EVERY SINGLE ballot is either postmarked today (not just dropped into a mailbox), or at a ballot drop before 8 p.m.
- If you've already voted -- many thanks! Please make sure your family and friends have voted too!
2. Do you have some time on your hands today and could volunteer? - There are still opportunities to help support the campaign! You can join me and other folks who are out phone banking, canvassing and participating in other activities in your community to get out the vote. Visit Washington United for Marriage's home page to find out what you can do!
3. Are you experiencing any problems voting? Last, please join us tonight at The Westin Seattle in the Cascade Ballroom at 7 p.m. to salute the hard work that so many people have put into this fight for the freedom to marry, including all the wonderful volunteers and staff at the Washington United for Marriage Campaign.
We're so close - let's do this! Sincerely, David Ward Legal and Legislative Counsel |
