Obviously the svn --> git synchronisation will be obsoleted by an actual migration to git.
 
However, it appears that the synchronisation has stopped early:
 
The last commit showing is December, and there is no Tag for release 1.53.

JonT: I think this is a "won't fix" as we are no longer using that repo for the conversion. Probably we should delete it.

Right now, the boost-svn repo is confusing to folks (like me) who are trying to manage dependencies on the boost libraries using git. If boost-svn won't be fixed, then it would be helpful to go ahead and delete it or else label it as do-not-use. The github repo description and root directory README are great places for a do-not-use notice.
