iknow. i threw that in cuz of Uhm Tae Woong (Hak-Do), Park Shi Eun (Chae-rin), Park Si Yeon (Seo-hyun) were and Junki was trying to stop Gong-chan from being with Yoo-Rin... he was kinda semi-villian
ONE THING...that made me really dispappointed in both dramas is the ending scene...they should have more happy of the main couples. It's like...they get married/together and...DONE...I felt a ..O__o..somehow..
My Girl FOR SURE except I never really thought about it but the support characters (DaHee and JinHyuk) are better in Delightful Girl :x Or maybe I think that's because I liked their personalities better.
[delightful girl] honestly, i thought mong ryong and choon hyang had better chemistry despite how much i like gong chan and yoo rin. i loved how they developed their feelings for each other from high school to college. it was soo touching when they finally got together, because they went through a lot of heartaches and misunderstanding from the beginning. besides, mong ryong changed for the better because of choon hyang
[my girl]gong chan and yoo rin were definitely cute together. they shared so many 'cutesy' inside jokes.. like counting to 5 and you'll see the person you love and holding your breath in the elevator so you could have a wish. if their relationship was a little more developed [like a whole episode of sweet scenes haha] then i think i would have picked them.
[delightful girl] dan-hee and ji-hyuk were such good friends to mong ryong and choon hyang. even though dan hee was always against mong ryong, she just wanted choon hyang to stop suffereing. as for ji-hyuk.. omg, wasn't he the cutest thing? he was always making opportunites for mong ryong to get back with choon hyang! i love that guy
[my girl] jin-kyu and jin-shim were the funniest siblings ever! haha they portray their roles VERY well, because for a moment... i saw myself acting like that with my brother and sister. besides, the brother always had this little thing for secretary yoon.. so it was cute
ok, as for antagonists... hands down its hak-do and chae-rin. they were like, PURE evil.. chae-rin did everything she could to separate mong ryong and choon hyang - she didn't even want mong ryong!! ahh evvvil. and hak-do.. adkasjdk i can't describe how much i hated him.
im not gonna vote, but i have to say that i liked the "evil" characters in my girl better only coz they weren't as psycho as that guy from choon hyang..his crazy obsessive love really made me wanna bash my screen to pieces..he was jst too much!!! :fury:
I agree with with G_R_E_E_N on everything except for the chemistry part. I think LDH and LDW had better chemistry maybe by 20%? This has a lot to do with the way they portrayed their characters, really. I feel Jae Hee was so excellent in his role as MongRyong that I ended up liking him far better than I like Choonhyang, to the extent where I thought the show should have been renamed 'Delightful Guy MongRyong'^^ instead. Han Chae Young is just a mediocre actress to me, she isn't bad but she's not funny enough to be Choonhyang.
But as for LDH and LDW, they both portrayed their roles equally well. We see the transformation of GC's character from boring and cold to ridiculously childish and funny. And I can't even describe how talented an actress LDH is. She made me laugh so hard with her funny antics, and broke my heart with her tears.
i like my girl better. i don't know why but i think the plot is much better and it captivated me to watch every single episode even without subtitle. the evil character definitely delightful girl because they were both so evil!!! jeong woo wasn't that evil and i was really surprised that he gave up the yoo rin so early and didn't really like try to separate yoo rin and gong chan instead wished them happiness. i remember like how i want to burn the evil character in delighful girl at stake. as for the supporting character i like delightful girl better.they're cute and nice. overall i like my girl better. it is the best kdrama i ever watched
1. i like lee da hae better than han chaeyoung. that's just my preference. i think da hae is a better actress and i just like the way she acted better. i thought chaeyoung's character was kinda boring.
2. i loved both male leads. but i think jaehee won me over for this one. he was just soo darn adorable and hilarious. i agree with HWANGB0 about the delightful guy thing LOL. i loved him so much more than chaeyoung.
3. in my girl, junki wasn't really a "bad guy"...he was so sweet. he just liked yoorin but he didn't really try to screw up yoorin and gongchan. but in delightful girl...i really HATED the antagonists. they annoyed me to DEATH. and not in a good way where they're understandable characters that i sympathize but i really just couldn't stand them.
