Dear All,

 

I would like to draw your attention to this year’s call for applications for the International Climate Protection Fellowship Programme of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

 

Up to 20 fellowships will be awarded to prospective leaders from non-European transition or developing countries, who are involved with issues relating to the scientific, engineering, legal, economic or social aspects of climate change. The young climate experts will come to Germany for a year to work alongside a host of their own choosing on a research-related project.

 

We would be very grateful if you disseminate the information in your networks, as you may know of suitable candidates from abroad, or hosts potentially interested in cooperating with dedicated young leaders.

 

The closing date for applications is 15 March 2014. The fellowship will commence on 1 March 2015.

The fellowships are funded under the Federal Environment Ministry's International Climate Initiative. Please note that anyone who has already received sponsorship from the Humboldt is not entitled to apply for this fellowship.
