Family and Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently joined the NY Chapter of a non-profit organization called Project by Project (PbP). It's PbP's mission to focus on issues related to the Asian American community by raising awareness, volunteerism and fundraising.
As you're all aware on March 11th, Japan was hit with one of the most devastating earthquakes ever recorded in history. You've all seen the videos and photos in the news and some of you may even have friends and family directly impacted by this tragic natural disaster. Japan needs our help and we're obligated to support them during this time of recovery and rebuilding. There's a tremendous amount of support pouring into Japan and now PbP in partnership with New York's premier sake and restaurant community is holding a tasting event to continue the much needed relief for our brothers and sisters in Japan. Please join us for an eventful evening of sake and food from a number of premier sake purveyors and restaurants in NYC. We've been working very hard to plan this event and it would mean a lot if you can make it! All net proceeds will be donated to Japan Red Cross Society.
