We've been working hard in Rwanda relearning/remembering Rails from
the training we did before. We have most of the initial domain model
done, tho the Rwandan satellite internet seems to dislike my git
pushes, so I'll keep trying. It's going to take a bit longer to get
them ready to code well on their own. No one has volunteered to do
remote pairing yet, probably due to the painful time difference.
In the mean time, I was told on Friday we have a demo this Tuesday, so
I'll be working this weekend to have something more to show. Others
are still pretty skeptical that partnering with local developers can
work well, so any help now will go a long way. The more we can show
initially, the less others will want to hold back resources to
outsource the development entirely. We want to use those resources to
build up local developers and an open source app at the same time
instead, to teach people to solve problems with less outside help.

We really appreciate any time you can give and thanks for reading this
email! Thank you also for your patience as we figure out how we can
rock this app together. Your suggestions are always welcome.
Cheers,
