rwanda update.

Greetings and good morning to all my missionary friends.

Our trip is less than 2 weeks away!

I, for one am looking forward to an amazing time in Rwanda.

Here are some additional tips for the trip:

Everyone should have Cipro. It's an antibiotic to take in case you eat or drink something that does not agree with your insides.

Only drink bottled water, including when you brush your teeth. Do not use ice.

Do not forget to call your bank and credit card co.

Let them know you will be out of the country and the dates. If you don't you cards may not work in Brussels and Rwanda.

Baby aspirin, Tylenol PM, a light jacket, toothpaste and brush or mouthwash, reading material, and music with earphones are highly recommended to carry on the plane.

Make sure they are easily accessible. The overhead compartments are very full and your stuff may get buried.

Once we get off the plane in Brussels and Kigali PLEASE wait for me and the rest of the group at the gate.

We will need to go through security again in Brussels and customs in Kigali.

I would prefer we all stay together as a group and that everyone would follow me.

A reminder to my Church on the Rock folks.

We are meeting immediately after this Sundays service to load your extra suitcase with school supplies.

Our team and the Bridgeport team will meet on our departure day, Monday August 12th at noon,in the church parking lot.

Please be on time and double check to make sure you have your passport. We are not planning on stoping on the way to the airport, so you might want to pack a lunch or snack. We should have plenty of time to have a late lunch once we get to Newark.

Tim, Becky and ReGina, please meet us at the gate once you get to Newark. I am told that the United international flights leave out of terminal C.
