Hi everyone
Ketlie - I cc'd Ed and Rich on this email to simplify all of the communication for the June 29th Rwanda Meeting at our house.
Here is a summary of all of the discussions. Just let me know if I have misunderstood anything.
Scott and I are thrilled to welcome both teams to our home for the Rwanda meeting on Saturday June 29th from 3-8 pm. There should be aproximately 16 from City Church and about 9 from Rich's group - total between 25-30
people.
Our address is
53 Merrimac Drive, Trumbull CT 06611 and our
home phone is
203-459-0940
A tentative schedule:
3 pm - Welcome time with pool and volleyball and games in the backyard and appetizers. Please make sure people know to bring suits and towels etc :)
Pre-dinner - orientation details with Rich
5 pm- Dinner as a group
After dinner show movie (Rich, you mentioned that you could bring both choices. Thank you so much for doing that) - we will serve desserts during that time. We have a large screen tv and plenty of room for people to sit on chairs and on cushions on the floor
Post movie - if people want to continue getting to know each other we can light the firepit and have smores and perhaps we could worship and pray together around the firepit if some of the team wanted to bring guitars?
This schedule is completely in your hands as leaders and simply based on our discussion yesterday, Rich....we just want to make sure we provide you with what you need.
