Looking forward to our trip on Monday.

All my COTR people are meeting at the church at noon.

We will meet the rest of our group at the gate.

Don't forget your passport and meds.

Pack lots of snacks, in fact pack as many as possible to share with the good people of Rwanda.

I just got a call from the folks at Africa New Life while i was typing this email.

The government has asked ANL to help with 30,000 new refugees from Tanzania.

These people have no housing and very little food and water. We have been asked to help out while we are there.

So Please bring what you can.

Ok I just read this. Should I quick buy a

Big suitcase in the AM and fill it with granola bars, trail mix,etc? I just changed my alarm to 6 so when u get up IF you even read this let me know. Will do whatever!!!

Bon Voyage Mighty Missionaries!!!!  Have a GREAT Trip!

If someone could get a group shot before you leave the COTR parking lot, that would be great. Just email it to me. And if it's not too much trouble, if someone could get a shot, perhaps at the airport withe the ENTIRE group, that would be ideal!!!

Note: In Rwanda,  especially if you're going to be in crowds, and especially around kids, you might want to keep your phones, small cameras, etc. tucked in a fanny belt  or passport holder UNDER your clothes. I had a phone lifted right out of my pocket when we were giving out water in a large crowd of kids. They are excellent survivors! Just use wisdom. Nothing to be afraid of, just be wise.

Mary already sent a pre-trip report. I look forward to ongoing reports from her and Harriet, as well as any many pictures as you can send.  I'll be putting them on the COTR facebook page.
