Archived Rootsweb lists

I know that the old Rootsweb lists are backed up on archive-it.org 

and while I can see some of the former list NYMONROE, I don't know how to find a specific former URL from archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com - http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/NYMONROE/2010-05/1274273381

I've tried to input dates but that didn't help.  I thought maybe if I could search for the particular thread which I think is the 10 digit number at the end of the above URL I could maybe find the post from May 2010, which I think may have announced the passing of the Monroe county, NY coordinator.

Has anyone had success in finding specific messages from these archived lists?

I wish we could get info from there too.   I had a website through Free Pages that I can still see but ads have been added that throw off the alignment of the info on the page.  When I looked into it, the instructions were written with technology terminology that I do not know.

    I tried and failed to figure out how to find a thread on the
archived list website.

    I have been the Monroe County, NY GenWeb and list and board since
July 1996. It is very possible that someone thought I died in 2010. I
was very sick and in the hospital from Feb. to July of 2010. Plus when I
finally got home my house had been robbed and they took my computer and
all the rest of my electronics. So I didn't reappear until August. Still
here and still adding to Monroe Co. GenWeb every week.
