ReliefWeb API getting secure with HTTPS

Dear API users,

ReliefWeb has changed its API from http to https. If you are using calls to ReliefWeb API from you application, please change the protocol to https. The calls now should start with https://api.reliefweb.int/v1/ instead of http://api.reliefweb.int/v1/

Anyway, for supporting the existing API calls, we are doing a redirection from the http calls to the new https calls.

If you change to the new protocol, this will mean better performance for your apps, as you will skip the redirection.

With this change ReliefWeb want to ensure that you are receiving the correct content from ReliefWeb as a trusted and reliable source of information,

Also, please, remind to use the appname parameters in your calls to ReliefWeb API so we can track performance and deliver a better product for your experience. The appname parameter can be used for POST ang GET calls. Please, refer to the Appname section of the API Documentation for additional details.
