Hello pilots, friends, (and friends of pilots and friends!)  ;-)

So.... anyone who knows me knows I've been involved in Hang Gliding for over 50 years (lifestyle and vocation / job).... all based in Southern N.Y.... at a world class Hang Gliding site called Ellenville Flight Park / mountain.

   Well.... our flying club, "The Hudson Valley Free Flyers" (a 501-C3 not-for-profit corp), is in the process of raising the funds needed to purchase the flying site from the (private) owner. We have a contract, and we have a closing date in early January.

We have set up a "Go-fund-me" page as part of the fundraising drive, for people to easily contribute to the effort.

PLEASE consider donating towards this fantastic cause. Any donations,large or small, are welcome and tax deductible. We need as much help as possible.... from pilots and non-pilots alike !! 

Having Ellenville Flight Park become a secure flying site forever, will add it to the (very short) list of secure flying sites in our country. Flying sites are the backbone of our sport.
