Reminder: Longsword appreciation party at Woodrat Mt. Sept. 30th

Hi again pilots,

Just a reminder that we are planning our LongSword appreciation day party for Saturday Sept 30.  We will be celebrating the more than 20 years that Matt Sorensen has been graciously letting us land our wings in his lower field.

LongSword will be advertising this to their customer base, and we hope that as many of you as possible can make it out to land safely. It’s our chance to show LongSword that pilots landing there are an asset in drawing customers to their tasting room.

Looks like the current much needed rain will be behind us by then and hoping you can join us.  As a bonus pilots landing will receive a coupon for a beverage of their choice or $7 towards any other purchase.

We will have soft drinks and water at the beach and if you want to bring a chair and a snack to share that would be great.  We’ll have transportation arranged to get pilots to and from the Hunter LZ parking area, as necessary.  We’ll have things set up on the LongSword beach waiting for your arrival.

This time of year, we generally don’t go up to launch much before 1:00 pm.  But LongSword’s tasting room will be open from 12:00pm to 7:00 pm.   You can join the telegram group to see what pilots are doing and coordinate rides at this link.  tg://join?invite=Ie2-g1ba2i0gpUIai1JCvQ
