Hi Daniel,

Thanks for submitting your RVHPA member application. Your membership will be active upon completion of payment and after we have verified that your USHPA membership is current.

You will be sent you a separate email confirming that your payment was sent.

We no longer routinely sent out membership materials such as helmet sticker or printed site guides. If your membership is challenged you can verify your membership by checking this link: http://rvhpa.org/membership/current-members /

Be sure to read the Woodrat Mountain Flying Site Guide http://rvhpa.org/site-guide/woodrat/

Note that the upper launch at Woodrat mountain is a P3/H3 launch. P2 and H2 pilots may only launch on the upper launch under the mentorship of P3/H3 or higher rated pilot who is familiar with their skills.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW THE RULES FOR HUNTER AND LONGSWORD LANDING ZONES! OTHERWISE WE COULD LOSE THEM AND THE SITE IS SHUT DOWN.

Most important rules for Hunter LZ:

• No Smoking/alcohol in the LZ
• No dogs on Hunter property.
• Land away from the cows.
• No kiting in the LZ.
• Pack up in the designated area and leave once you have packed up.

Most important rules for LongSword LZ:

• No landings there unless permission is obtained and a local pilot is flying there. See this webpage for more details. http://rvhpa.org/longsword-lz-landing-requirements/
• No Smoking in the LZ
• Obey the 5 mph speed limit for cars and be extra careful not to run over the chickens or geese.
• ANIMALS HAVE THE RIGHT AWAY AT LONGSWORD.
• NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED TO BE CONSUMED ON THE LONGSWORD PROPERTY.

Just wondering if we should add the HLZ parking area rules as well for clarity ie: Don't stand in or stop/park on the road, don't block the driveway, park facing in, No smoking or loose dogs or camping or drinking in the parking area.?

Hard to know how much to put in the email.  If one of you wants write a draft for me I’m happy to consider it.  I’m looking at a way to make applicants access the application AFTER following a link to the application page.  Unfortunately that still doesn’t guarantee they will read it.
