Dear Student,



R&D Labs,Department of RVCE is conducting one week course,

Prouct Development using PC Interfaces- Centronics(parallel),
serial & USB ports.



On successful completion of the course, students will be issued the
certificate and also this will considered for the course credits
reserved for extra curricular activities.



What do you learn in the course...



PC/Laptop has all the capabilities to become a powerful product
provided little interfaces are added to it,

to name a few.....

pc based osiloscope,

pc based automatic test equipments ,

pc based controlling & monitoring systems ,

pc based data acquisition systems,

pc based machine control ,

pc based survellence systems

... no limit! it is only your imagination -



you can apply this to any domain...

ranging from manufacturing industries,
automobiles,instrumentation,electronic industries,

computer controlled equiupment producers............



To do this you should have the complete knowledge about your PC
architecture, different ports available like serial ports, parallel
ports , usb ports and their working principles and how to interface
them to external circuits and devices, and how to program these ports
for sending and receiving data through them.



More is the excitement if you can develop your own pc based product,
completely on your own understanding all the software and hardware
concepts involved and make it working...



The course is spread for 6 days, from 9.30 to 4.30pm, please refer the
attached detailed brochure.



Registration is based on first come,first serve basis.



If you know basics of C programming & Digital electronics, you can do
this program.
