Dear Volunteers

Please find the details of Volunteer Training Session on July 4 and School Kit Distribution for the coming weekend in this mail.

1. July 4th - General Orientation and Green Commandos Training

Timing: 9.30 am to 4:00 pm
Venue: Seva in Action
           # 36, S.T Bed layout, I Main,
           Koramangala,  Bangalore – 560 034
 
All volunteers, especially new volunteers are required to attend these sessions to help you get started with your work at YFS.

Lunch will be provided for both the sessions. Those who wish to make a donation of Rs.50 for the expenses in organizing the sessions, may do so at the venue.

2. Details of School Kit Distribution 2010

Please find the schedule for distribution in Bangalore and also out of Bangalore for the first two weeks of July.

We hope that every donor and volunteer attends at least one distribution event. Please send an email to in...@youthforseva.org with your phone # and mention the location where you would like to attend.

You can invite executives from your company to come as guests for the event. Please inform Soumya (9880012920) if you are inviting some one as a guest.

Note: We have received sponsorships for around 2000 kits. But the requests from various schools are for  more than 4000 children. Most schools suggested that we at least donate notebooks for every one. So, we decided to buy more books and fewer bags this year to cover more children. So, in few schools you may not find bags.
