As a result of our meeting last week, the RVA GTUG has officially been listed as "active" on the gtugs.org website! Basically, this means that we have a website, a discussion group, and hold meetings at least quarterly. Thanks to everyone who has attended, especially Kim Mahan and Jay Campbell with Genworth Financial for providing meeting space, planning coordination, and the pizza last week.

Now, we need to keep things moving. Please visit the group's Google Moderator page and suggest ideas for future events. Let me know what Google technologies you want to learn about, and definitely add a meeting idea for any technology you would be willing to present to the group. Also, if 5:30 PM on Thursday isn't a good meeting time for you, please add suggestions to the scheduling topic and vote on days/times/frequencies that work for you.

In other local events, we have a Java UG meeting coming up next Thursday on dependency injection. If you belong to other local technology groups, please feel free to share their events with this group.

Thanks, everybody!

Hooray!
I don't see where I can add suggestions to the topic... but its late
so I might just be overlooking it... Generally speaking Thursday work
for me... but for the next month or so my daughter has a game every
Thursday.

James,

If you open up a topic (event ideas or schedule) there's a button all the way at the bottom, in the blue bar. UI/UX design FTW?
