This note is to inform to you about the passing of Mr. Harry Schmidt.  Harry has been a important part of this Troop 1776 for many years and no doubt has touched the lives of every Scout in our ranks.  Harry was a good man and a kind soul and always there to teach and inspire not only the Scouts but the leaders and parents as well.  He has been missed during his recent illness and he will always be missed by our Troop and the many others that he has touched in his over 50 years of service to Scouting.
