The FIRST Lego League (FLL) is an international competition[1] for elementary and middle school students (ages 9-14 in the USA and Canada, 9-16 elsewhere). It is arranged by the FIRST organization.

Each year the contest focuses on a different real-world topic related to the sciences.[2] Each challenge within the competition then revolves around that theme.[2] The robotics part of the competition revolves around designing and programming Lego robots to complete tasks. The students work out solutions to the various problems they are given and then meet for regional tournaments to share their knowledge, compare ideas, and display their robots.

Hillsborough High School RoboRaiders, Team 75, put on a science demonstration for Pack 1776 such that those scouts could earn their Science Belt Loop.  These scouts had a great time meeting with the HS team, conducting a rocket experiment to demonstrate the scientific method, and see the team's robot.

Team 75 is willing to come to other local packs for this purpose.

Please contact James Simpson for more information.
