* * * And Now for Something Entirely Different * * *
* * * First Time Ever – Webelos Klondike Trail * * *
Here’s a great opportunity for our District Webelos Cub Scouts to get a feeling for outdoor Boy Scout activities. The Klondike Trail is open this year for participation by Webelos I and II Cub Scouts. It will be held side-by-side with the Boy Scout Klondike event on Saturday, 2/26, but the Webelos challenges will be scaled back for the Webelos Dens. The location is the Watchung Reservation in Mountainside, New Jersey. See the Webelos event details package for more information (link).
Advance registration is required - (link). It is important you read the package closely before registering – no individual Cub Scout registrations – just as with the Boy Scouts, this is a Den “team” activity. Two adult leaders must accompany each Den throughout the entire event.
