The James Harper Smith Estate is a one-of-a-kind Victorian chateaux and carriage house located in Somerville’s Victorian West end. It has been featured in Victorian Homes Magazine, Somerset Magazine, and New York Spaces Magazine, and was listed on the National Historical Register in 1998.

Troop 46 Blood Drive and Crutch Collection
The Knights of Columbus Council #5959 and the Boy Scouts Troop 46 of Martinsville are requesting a charitable donation of your used crutches for an Army Special Forces Medical Unit deploying to Southern Afghanistan in July 2009. Our connection to this unit is that one of the doctors is the son of a council member. They have requested that we supply 500 sets of crutches. They intend these crutches to be distributed to Afghani citizens injured inadvertently by our forces and from previous conflicts in Afghanistan.
