Hi Sam,
Congratulations, sounds like things are really working out well. I'm very glad to hear it. I have to echo Kirk's observations. I have had the opportunity to meet and talk a bit with Roger here in GA. He's in and out of the campground we are staying in right now very often. Although I haven't used my certification professionally up to this point, the training has been invaluable working on my own rig, and has actually gotten me a couple discounts on parts. I recently bought, a new for us, motorhome and had to have the inevitable few things done, decided to have them done at the dealer where we bought it. A big mistake! Although they eventually fixed the few problems, they made many more, greasy carpets, dirty ceilings, the Sani-Con mounted improperly, a window mounted very badly. I have since taken care of all of that and more. Although I had a lapse of judgement, I will go back to doing the work myself or having it done by a tech that knows what he's doing, and that I can watch. With the industry in such turmoil right now, I'm sure the pressure in on the dealerships is to get the cheapest help available(exactly the wrong thing to do) so I imagine the workmanship at dealers will go down even further, if that's possible? I'm glad that there are professional, competent people around like Roger who are performing a very necessary service and are succeeding personally as well.
