Hi,

It's been a long time since anyone has posted anything other than Mike
Croom. Let's get this going again. We also have a job board on our
website that anyone can send details on and I'll post it on the
website - www.rvtc.biz. We are also in the process of creating a new
and better website - www.rvtrainingcenter.com. Will advise when it is
ready to view. Anyone having any problems to discuss, etc. are
welcome to post or call me after class (727) 418-2392 - 3:30 p.m.
E.S.T. We are now approved for VA training and also Dept. of
Education, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation - Federal/State
programs - different names for programs in each state such as
Department of Labor, WIA, ETA, TAA, etc. We have have 2 Class C's, 3
Class A's, 2 Travel Trailers and 1 Fifth Wheel for our students to
work on. We can always use training aids so if anyone wants to send
us something, please call us to discuss.

Hello Sam, This is from Jim Ford. Funny how we get caught up in new things. I worked off and on for a dealer in Alvin, Tx. Enjoyed almost every min. Not the black tanks. The training gave me the confidence to succeed with the hands on at the job. Have done some work at my home. Returned to my old occupation as an instrument/electrical tech in the chemical plants. Work shutdowns, startups and new construction. Can work for a month or more and make a bundle then Carole and I are off on vacation with our 5th wheel. Have never regreted the rv training and experience. Often, I live in my trailer while working these jobs. Have even met folks that I did the make ready and walk thru when they bought their campers. Worked with one guy just last month that came to Tx from CA, bought his camper from us and remembered me from the walk thru. Six years had passed. We worked together in Beaumont TX. Several of my new friends have bought campers and follow the jobs like
I do. The money is great and I don't worry if something breaks or malfunctions. Still remember the guys in your class. I sat between Bob Beckwith from WY and Mike Croom. Glad to see you are doing well. Jim Ford, class of Mar/May 2003.
