Hello Prof. Anala,

 

       As discussed with you today morning, Please find attached Course materials for OS internals that were presented in last few weeks.

       Kindly request you to pass the same to students.

 

      On Saturday (16^th April), for the first half, we would have hands-on session on the following topics –

1.       Dynamically Loadable Kernel modules (DLKM) – Ravindra Kini – 10:00 to 11:00AM

2.       Implementing Small driver on Linux and Makefiles – Sachin Metimath – 11:15AM to 12:00 PM.

 

      We would also conduct course evaluation from 1:00PM to 1:45PM.

       The format of the evaluation would be 20 Multiple Choice questions (each question with weightage of 0.5).

       Students would be evaluated for 10 points and students crossing 4 points would be receiving course certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

 

       Please let us know if you are fine with above schedule and confirm the same.

       Also it would be great if you could give us an estimate on the number of students who would take the evaluation.

       We would need to prepare accordingly.

      We will come prepared for the same.

 

      Please find evaluation format –

 

A.      There would be 35 questions. Each question carries a weight of 0.5.

B.      Students will need to get a minimum weight of 9 to qualify for Course Completion.

C.      Duration of the evaluation would be 45 minutes.

D.      There is no negative marking.
