Lower Table Rock Purple Martins

Hi,

This morning during a KBO bird training at Lower Table Rock we heard a male Purple Martin singing when we were practicing our point count protocol. We located a pair of Purple Martins, male and female sitting on a cross strut on top of a double wooden utility pole just up from the parking lot. The male was serenading the female as they perched side by side. A behavior I have observed in the past.
