I made a search for the Agate Lake Burrowing Owl this afternoon, but it wasn't home. However, there were plenty of other highlights, including two Rock Wrens, a Merlin, a juvenile Northern Harrier tearing into a Savannah Sparrow (ID confirmed by forensic examination of feathers), 14 Tundra Swans, and - on the drive out East Antelope Road - a beautiful Prairie Falcon on one of the power poles.
