Eurasian Wigeon, Gadwall, Emigrant Lake, 3/15

While walking my dog at Emigrant Lake's north end earlier today I had a male Eurasian Wigeon mixed with 20 American Wigeon working the shoreline below the cemetery.  The Eurasian's rufous head really stood out.   Mixed in was a Gadwall and a couple of Mallards. 

Emigrant Lake's water level is showing a noticeable increase, particularly on the N/NE end of the lake.  The south end is still dry but more rivulets of water are starting to enter the lake from the south.
