Costa's Hummingbird (Calypte costae) (1)
- Reported Feb 20, 2025 08:04 by Tanner Martin
- Eagle Point Home, Jackson, Oregon
- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&q=42.4868392,-122.8076742&ll=42.4868392,-122.8076742
- Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S214541364
- Comments: "Continuing female. A discussion was started yesterday whether this bird has too much Anna's genetics in her to be countable as a Costa's. I'm going to let the experts deliberate on that, and if that is the consensus then I will change my ID. But since that will involve changing nearly 5 months worth of daily backyard checklists, I'm not going to make that change until I'm quite sure that is the final official ruling. So for now, my "Costa's" is still here."
