Hey birders,

I have been up Grizzly Peak twice this weekend and there is lots of bird activity! Hermit warblers are filling the canopy with song, and there are lots of Green-tailed towhees on the rocky west side, along with many singing (and posing) House wrens. Two Canada jays graced me with their quiet presence, and I also heard two separate Northern pygmy-owls. I got a nice view of a drumming Pileated woodpecker too. Also, lots of trilliums. I recommend a trip up there!
