I happened to look in my backyard at the seed eating birds I have (juncos, Golden-crowns mainly) and noticed a bird flitting around in a nearby bush gleaning insects or probably small seed pods? at 8:40AM. I quickly grabbed my binoculars and the bird turned out to be a Nashville Warbler (sorry, no picture). Very active for about 5 minutes. I saw a grayish head (male), full eyering, yellow throat and olive green back.
iBrid PRO says the Nashville Warbler has "an all purpose bill."
Something frightened ALL the birds from my backyard, including the Nashville, so haven't seen it again.
