- Comments: "Responded to a tape. Two owls calling to each other from different locations. Single and sometimes double syllabled low hoots separated by a couple of seconds. Pine, oak, fir habitat. One person has had them at this same location in past years."

- Comments: "After spending a couple hours driving up and down Takelma Dr. stopping every 0.10 mile to listen, I finally got a flammulated owl at about (42.7164309, -122.6624072). Poor audio to follow — will require listening at full volume to hear the owl behind the crickets."
