The Medford Raptor Run was completed today by Bob Hunter, Frank Lospalluto, Janet Kelly and Anne Goff. It was windy much of the day with occasional showers. Numbers of Red-tailed Hawks and American Kestrels were WAY down from last month (I forgot to post those numbers, so I'll share those results here as well) and for the second month in a row the once reliable Peregrine Falcons were absent from Campbell Road. However, despite the low numbers we had some good sightings and nice variety of birds. And...we saw 5 Black-billed Magpies at the end of Campbell Road!
