- Comments: "Singing in the edge of a large patch of ceanothus next to grassland right beside the trail Sang repeatedly and was getting a response from the distance. A hiker with a dog came by while I was trying to spot it and it flushed so I only got a couple of short views of it flying. Songs confirmed with Merlin bird ID and phone mic."
