Greetings Earth Day H&H collaborators!
I hope you are getting excited for
next week's event - we are getting some positive news and expect a good showing of participants. It is going to be a great networking event for us locally, and it is going to be a powerful moment to stand together
with other Earth Day
events around the United States to show support for public lands.
At this point, your input is needed!
Please read over important information regarding the event, and respond with a confirmation (or questions) for your various roles in the event. (see below)

Important details:
- Bring your organizations' newsletter/ brochure / notices to add to a table during the happy hour.
- Photo/drone opp: Half way through the hike, all smaller groups will converge as one large group to take a few drone photos courtesy of Bouldering Badger Media group- Margaret and Andrew, and some SOU students will be set up along the trail, you won't
miss them!
Flow of events: (hike leaders must be especially aware, please bring a time-piece!)
12:00 Carpool from Shop N Kart
12:40 Introduction by KS Wild, Welcome and info about the CSNM from Soda Mountain Wilderness Council
1:00 Break into hike groups (see below)
2:00 Meet for Photo-opp. halfway through the hike
2:45 Wrap up hike and head over to Greensprings Inn (encourage overflow parking just before the Inn)
3:00-5:00 Happy Hour at the Greensprings Inn's yurt space (behind the restaurant.
- Overall Event map below: First meeting at the Parking area (with Orange dot), convening for photos on hike (with the green dot) and later meeting at Greensprings Inn (Blue dot)

Carpool at Shop N Kart
- Please note that we will be leaving cars in the parkling lot closer to the road by the medical office, as per request of the Shop N Kart property owner!
- Carpool leaders needed: If you are driving from Ashland anyway, I need a couple other folks to meet early (11:30am) at Ashland Shop N Kart.
